Commercial-use policy for models and materials

Revision 0.13 · 7 October 2026 · Mandatory Vantemio standard

1. Commercial-production rule

Vantemio commercial production uses only models, software components and materials whose rights permit the agreed commercial use. This is a mandatory admission condition for every component, including local models and external services.

If a standard licence is insufficient, obtain separate rightsholder permission or select a permitted alternative before use. Inclusion in a laboratory or source inventory does not authorize commercial use.

2. Review scope

Code, model weights, additional models, data, voice references, source assets and outputs have separate terms. Review covers the exact version, usage mode, territories, platforms, attribution, redistribution, restrictions and provider terms.

An “open source” label, free download or paid subscription does not replace specific rights. Sending an input to an AI service does not create rights in it. Exclusive ownership and guaranteed uniqueness of AI outputs are not assumed.

3. Admission register

Each component records source, version or hash, rightsholder, licence or agreement, commercial scope, obligations, restrictions, review date and responsible person. Decisions are approved, conditionally approved, laboratory-only or prohibited for the scenario.

Commercial tasks may select only admitted variants. Weight, provider or material-term changes require a new decision. Production-studio evidence is retained in the Station registry. A Home release receives version-specific licensing information and a local admission record without access to the studio’s private agreements or secrets. Private agreements and keys are not published.

4. Evidence categories

CategoryRequired basis
Software tools and librariesLicence for the exact version and build
Local AI modelsSeparate code, exact weights and additional components
Cloud AI and generatorsPermitted product access, agreement and output rights
Voice and likenessConsent or another sufficient basis within the intended scope
Music, footage, photographs and fontsCommercial licence, owned rights or another reviewed basis
Customer deliverablesAgreed rights transfer and disclosed third-party restrictions

5. Release and replacement

Release review checks the register version associated with the material. A disallowed component is replaced or obtains appropriate permission; uncertainty is not concealed by a blanket stack-licensing claim. Licensing and editorial acceptance are recorded separately.
